Privacy policy
Last updated August 2026
Vocast is a local voice studio for the Mac. It is built so that your voice, your scripts, and your renders stay on your device. This policy explains what that means in practice.
No data collection
Vocast does not collect personal data. There is no account, no sign in, and no analytics or tracking. We never receive your voice recordings, your scripts, or the audio you generate.
Everything runs on your Mac
Voice cloning and noise removal run on device, on Apple Silicon. Your voice profiles, projects, and renders are stored locally on your Mac and never leave it.
Network use
Vocast is offline by design. The one exception is a one time download of the on device speech models the first time you use them. That download fetches model files only. It does not send your voice, your scripts, or any personal data.
Purchases
Vocast is sold on the App Store as a one time purchase. Payment and receipts are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. We do not see or store your payment details.
Files you export
When you export audio or a project, the file is saved wherever you choose on your Mac. What happens to it after that is up to you.
Children
Vocast is rated for all ages and does not collect data from anyone, including children.
